Job Description:

We are seeking two compassionate and reliable caregivers to provide private in-home care for an elderly lady in the Willow Park area. This position requires daily care, seven days a week, for 7 hours per day (typically 10 AM to 5 PM).

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with daily showers and hygiene maintenance, including care of a permanent catheter.
  • Administering eye drops frequently throughout the shift.
  • Performing household chores such as cleaning, laundry, and ironing.
  • Providing assistance with medication management and ensuring adherence to prescribed schedules.
  • Driving the client to doctor appointments and assisting with grocery shopping.
  • Cooking and preparing meals according to dietary preferences and requirements.
  • General cleaning and organization of the home.
Education Required:

HCA certificate

  
Skills Requirements:

  • Experience in caregiving or a related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of basic medical care and hygiene practices.
  • Ability to follow a care plan and adapt to changing needs.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (the client has a car for use). 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be punctual, responsible, and respectful.
