Job Description: |
The Bingo Outlet Supervisor is responsible for all Bingo operations
during a prescribed shift. The work is typified as a full time hands-on
supervisory position and includes establishing priorities, ensuring work
quality and coordinating the activities of Outlet employees on shift that day.
The Outlet Supervisor assists the on-shift FOH Supervisor with the development
and implementation of Outlet standards, policies and procedures and when
required conduct remedial/ disciplinary discussions in accordance with
established policies and related documentation to the FOH Supervisor on duty.
They resolve department issues, providing guidance and direction to employees
to ensure a positive morale and motivation of all employees is sustained at all
times. The Outlet Supervisor is required to take all necessary precautions to
protect the safety and health of workers and ensure that safe work practices
are developed and adhered to.

Education Required: |
• A valid Alberta Pro Serve Certification.
• 4-5 years experience in a progressive lead role or supervisory capacity with
practical hands on knowledge and experience in all facets of Food &
Beverage operations.
• Proven experience in leading and motivating a team of service employees is
also required.
• Specific Casino food and beverage operational experience would be an asset.
• Emphasis on Point of Sale programming, inventory control and beverage cost
practices and procedures are required.
• A Post Secondary education in a recognized Hospitality Management program
would be an asset.
• Experience in Outlook Express, PowerPoint, Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
is required.

Skills Requirements: |
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required in order
to promote maintain and deliver impeccable service standards at all times.
• Must have customer service experience and well-developed leadership skills.
• Able to work in high stress environments (work load, conflict situations,
etc).
• Ability to maintain their composure even when dealing with angry or demanding
patrons
• Accurate and clear, concise reporting.
• Must be able to stand for long periods at a time.
• Must be able to work in a variety of shifts.
• Must be aware of and able to work in a smoke environment.
• May require lifting weight of up to approximately 50 lbs.
