The Pit Boss will be in charge of several dealers operating several different games simultaneously. The Pit Boss/Supervisor is expected to be an absolute expert in the games they oversee, and be able to hand out rulings at a moment’s notice. They must also ensure first-rate customer service and efficient table game procedures at assigned tables and to act within and according to internal guidelines to ensure the compliance of Alberta Gaming & Liquor Commission (AGLC) terms and conditions.

The Pit Boss ensures that all gaming rules and procedures are strictly adhered to in accordance with the Casino Internal Controls and Guidelines while complying with Alberta Gaming & Liquor Commission (AGLC) terms and conditions. The Pit Supervisor promotes the values of the Casino by example at all times and encourages others to do the same. They ensure first-rate customer service with quick efficient table game procedures. They act as initial contact in their designated area when a guest raises a complaint and will inform management respectively.

• Knowledge of advantage and cheating at play on games being supervised.
• Experience with table games, rules, and procedures.
• Experience in customer service and leadership.
• Excellent negotiating, oral and written communication skills.
