Job Description:

The House Supervisor is a key part of the Event Centre team. In the absence of the Front of House Manager, the position is responsible for the overall management (including security, health & safety and audience control) of the theatre and front of house during performance periods to ensure the experience of patrons at Grey Eagle Event Centre is enjoyable, comfortable and safe.

The position involves front of house service alongside casual staff members, with an emphasis on the efficient and enthusiastic servicing of the front of house internal and external clients. The House Supervisor should show a high level of customer service, initiative, be results-oriented and be able to lead and motivate a team of staff and contractors.


Education Required:

• Front of House /retail / live entertainment venue experience
• Experience in staff management and working with a wide range of people, including scheduling
• Experience in cash management
• Experience in working in a high profile, busy, changing and dynamic environment
• Experience with stock control and ordering
• Demonstrated interest in, and knowledge of the role of the Front of House Operations.
• Demonstrated interest and sensitivity to Artists and the creative process.
