Creating Blended Moodle Courses

Go to:

* http://moodle.mpls.k12.mn.us/classroom/
* Login with your email username and password
* Click the link to read the Site Policy Agreement
* You will have to agree to this policy (This is a one time thing)
* Click on All Courses in the left hand navigation panel
* Scroll to the bottom and click on "Request a Course"

For the full name of the course type something like:
for example, Sanford – Geography with Mr. Pierson

For the short name type something like:
for example, SanfordGeo

For the summary type something like:
This is our Moodle course for learning about geography and for online discussion groups.

For the enrollment key type a password students will have to enter when they enroll in the course such as:
for example, geographyrocks

For supporting information type something like:
This is a course for the Middle Years Laptop Pilot.

Then click Request a Course

You will receive an email in a couple of days verifying that your course is approved.
